Any additional cost is one you will know about before you commit. An additional Arizona deed beyond the one included in your plan is $375. Signing is separate from your plan fee: you can sign at Luke's Scottsdale office for a flat $175, or use a mobile notary or another notary of your choice, whose fee is paid directly to them. You are never handed off to a call center or a document preparer, and he stays the attorney you call years from now.
Yes. Luke is licensed in Arizona and every plan is drafted under Arizona law, so the firm does not represent clients outside of Arizona unless otherwise permitted by law. Within the state it is fully remote: you can complete the entire process online from Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, or anywhere else in Arizona.
A kit gives you a template and leaves the legal judgment to you. Here, a licensed attorney designs the structure, advises you on how it should work for your family, and guides the funding so your trust actually holds your assets. An attorney is also accountable under State Bar ethics rules, and problems get caught before you sign rather than discovered by your family after death.
